The writing surface is lacquered (magnetic). It includes the pad holder and the easel. Paper pad and markers not included.

Can it be used just as a board, without the pad? +

Yes. The board works independently, whether or not you want to use it with a pad. Use it just with the board, just with the pad, or both.

Is the easel foldable? +

Yes. The Flipchart is foldable for transport and storage.

What's the difference between the tripod and castors versions? +

The tripod version is lighter and easier to store (telescopic legs). The castors version moves around easily but doesn't reduce in size when stored.
